Rashan is Co-Founder and CEO of Lucrum Verus Capital, where he leads the firm's crypto thinking, capital formation, and investment strategy. A philosophy-driven investor with a deep policy background, he's helped shape federal crypto legislation on behalf of leading exchanges, venture firms, DeFi projects, and stablecoin issuers. Previously Head of Policy at dYdX Trading and a U.S. Senate staffer, Rashan now applies that experience as a startup advisor, angel investor, and online writer. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife and family.

He brings a cross-functional background spanning public markets investing, project management, and user experience design, with deep experience scaling processes at multinational technology and financial companies. Before LVC, Habib held leadership roles across operations and strategy at Fortune 100 companies. He holds an MBA and lives in Washington, DC with his dog, Nikko.
